The latest research has found that keeping your teeth clean can dental help your mind become acute. Those with poor oral hygiene, swollen gums, and bleeding gums are more likely to suffer from memory dental help problems associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
Researchers at Columbia University in New York have examined bacteria that cause periodontitis for more than 2,300 men and women.
The results showed that people with the most gums had a memory problem of up to three times, both men and women, compared with people with the least plaque bacteria.
The researchers explained that oral hygiene may exacerbate memory problems and the incidence of dementia is still unclear. But bacteria that lurk in the gums can damage the arteries, and arterial damage is associated with dementia.
